10/05 WEEK 5 SEC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tennessee's DeSean Bishop, a senior running back from Knoxville, Tenn., set career highs in rushing yards (220), attempts (34) and touchdowns (3) to lead the Volunteers past Auburn, 24-14. He accounted for all three of the Vols' touchdowns in the second half, scoring on runs of 25, 44 and 5 yards, and 158 of his 220 yards came after contact, according to PFF. Bishop's rushing yards, attempts and touchdowns were the most by an SEC player in a game this year and the second-most by any FBS player this year, behind Duke's Nate Sheppard. He is just the 20th SEC player - the 24th occurrence - in the last 30 seasons (1997-2026) to rack up at least 220 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in a single game, and the 16th SEC competitor - 17th instance - in that span to achieve the feat against a fellow SEC team. Bishop's 200-yard rushing game was the first by a Vol since Eric Gray did it against Vanderbilt on Nov. 30, 2019, and just the second by a Vol in the last 20 years. - SEC Football
