10/05 WEEK 5 SEC CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Kentucky's Kenny Darby, a freshman wide receiver from Bossier City, La., set a Kentucky single-game freshman record with 12 receptions, good for 96 yards and a touchdown, in the Wildcats' 35-34 overtime win at South Carolina. After UK trailed 17-0 in the second quarter, Darby spearheaded the offense with 10 catches for 82 yards in the second half alone, beginning the third quarter with a 17-yard touchdown reception. Darby also made a crucial play in the fourth quarter. With UK backed up on its own 16-yard line facing second-and-17, he caught a short pass and eluded tacklers for a 22-yard gain and a first down, extending the drive that ended with the game-tying field goal that sent the game to overtime. He is the first Wildcat with at least 12 receptions, 96 yards and a touchdown in an SEC road game since Randall Cobb at Mississippi State in 2010, and Kentucky's rally from 17 points down is the largest comeback road win in school history. - SEC Football
