09/29/26 - RB Jadan Baugh, Jr/2028, Florida, (DS#1 RB)

09/28 WEEK 4 SEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Florida's Jadan Baugh, a junior running back from Atlanta, Ga., helped power the Gators offense with 142 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 29 attempts, plus one reception for 12 yards, in No. 21 Florida's 52-28 win over No. 4 Ole Miss. The 142 rushing yards, 103 of which came after contact, marked Baugh's fifth straight game with more than 100 rushing yards, making him the third Gator to complete the feat all-time alongside Fred Taylor (1997) and Emmitt Smith (1987, 1988). The 52 points put up by Baugh and the Gators' offense tied Florida's most points scored against a top-five team since beating Florida State 52-20 in the 1996 national championship game. Baugh has now rushed for more than 135 yards and multiple touchdowns in all four games, with three rushing touchdowns in three games this season, while boasting 83 carries for 600 yards and 11 touchdowns (7.2 yards per carry, 150.0 yards per game).

Baugh's 10 rushing touchdowns through 3.5 games made him the fastest Gator to reach that mark, surpassing Tim Tebow's record of seven games in 2007. His 11 rushing touchdowns tie former Alabama running back Najee Harris (2020) and LSU running back Leonard Fournette (2015) for the most rushing touchdowns through four games by an SEC player since the 1992 expansion. Baugh has also run for 866 rushing yards over the past five games, which ranks fourth for the most rushing yards in a five-game stretch, behind Emmitt Smith's marks of 904, 886 and 868. - SEC Football
