  WEEK 10 FCS NATIONAL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Carsten Mamaril, Portland State, DB, Jr., 5-10, 180,...Mamaril had a hand - literally - in Portland State's first win of the season, 40-35 at Cal Poly in the Big Sky Conference. He had two interceptions and broke up three other passes, and collected both a solo tackle and an assist. His second pick occurred in Cal Poly territory late in the third quarter and set up the Vikings offense for a touchdown that provided a 40-28 lead.
