  WEEK 9 WALTER CAMP NATIONAL FBS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: ANTHONY HILL, JR., TEXAS, Junior, Linebacker, Denton, TX,...Anthony Hill, Jr. led the Longhorns with career highs of 2.5 quarterback sacks and four quarterback pressures and recorded his second-highest total of 3.5 tackles for loss, to go along with one forced fumble and 10 tackles in Texas' 45-38 overtime win on the road at Mississippi State. Hill led a Longhorn defensive unit that held MSU to 14 combined points in the second half and overtime. With the victory, Texas improved to 6-2, 3-1 in the SEC. Notes: It is the 14th time a Texas player has earned Walter Camp National Player of Week honors since 2004. It is the second time Hill, Jr., has been recognized as National Defensive Player of Week - he was also honored on Oct. 14, 2024. - Walter Camp Football Foundation
