Draft Scout College Football Player News

Mississippi State football wide receiver Caleb Ducking has entered the transfer portal, according to reports from The Athletic and On3. The move comes about a month after Ducking declared for the 2023 NFL Draft in a since-deleted tweet and also said he was looking for an agent in a tweet.

Ducking will be using a sixth season of eligibility. He spent two seasons at Holmes Community College before joining Mississippi State in 2020. He redshirted his first year with the Bulldogs. He appeared in seven games in 2021, recording nine catches for 83 yards. After fellow outside receiver Makai Polk left for the 2022 NFL Draft, Ducking stepped into a bigger role. Ducking caught 46 passes for 477 yards last season and led Mississippi State with eight reception touchdowns. - The Clarion Ledger
