Bowling Green State University's football team quickly turned its biggest offseason need into perhaps one of its biggest strengths for the upcoming season. Connor Bazelak was a big reason why. Bazelak, a former Indiana and Missouri signal-caller who was the 2020 Southeastern Conference co-freshman of the year, has bolstered a Falcons' quarterback room that has plenty of talent and potential. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior, who has two years of eligibility left, is one of the team's five quarterbacks who have head coach Scot Loeffler excited about the future of the position. The coaching staff was Bazelak's biggest reason for picking the Falcons. "My goal is to play at the next level, so how much they can develop me in the areas I need improvement in is important," Bazelak said. "Obviously, I'm ready to put the work in. I feel like I'm a good player right now, and I feel like this coaching staff can take me to that next level and get me ready for the next level." - Toledo Blade
