Georgia linebacker Trezmen Marshall announced Thursday evening that he is transferring to Alabama. Marshall, who played the past four seasons for the Bulldogs, made his announcement in an Instagram post after entering the NCAA transfer portal last Friday. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds by Georgia, Marshall played mostly on special teams.

He finished the Bulldogs' 2022 season with 19 total tackles, including 4.5 for a loss. He made one sack, against Tennessee, and one interception, against South Carolina. Alabama was thin on numbers at inside linebacker after losing senior starters Henry To'o To'o and Jaylen Moody, and having Demouy Kennedy enter the NCAA transfer portal earlier this week. Marshall joins junior college transfer Justin Jefferson as the Tide's two incoming inside linebackers this offseason. - Birmingham News
