Battling a sprained knee, standout TCU running back Kendre Miller will be a game-time decision against Georgia in the College Football Playoff title contest on Monday. Miller suffered the injury in the first half against Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl. While he told reporters Saturday that he was improved and that it will be a 50-50 decision, he did not actively participate in the Horned Frogs walk-through after media day.

"We'll continue to try to see where he's at," TCU coach Sonny Dykes said. "To me in the next 24 hours is when obviously we'll have to make a determination, have a pretty good idea on what he's going to be able to do going into the game Monday. We're still optimistic that he's going to be able to play." Miller leads TCU with 1,399 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns. If he can't play, his backup is Emari Demercado, who ran for a career-high 150 yards against Michigan. "We want him to be very effective," Dykes said of Miller. "We just don't want to put him out there and give him an opportunity to get more injured." - Dallas Morning News
