  Florida State safety Akeem Dent is the latest Seminole set to return to the program in 2023. The NIL collective The Battles End announced a partnership with Dent on Wednesday morning, indicating the defensive back's return for his fifth season with the Seminoles. Dent accounted for a career-high 53 tackles and 4 passes defended this season, starting all 13 games at the Buck position - a hybrid role between linebacker and defensive end. His 10 tackles in FSU's 35-31 win over Louisville on Sept. 16 was a career-high. He had 2 tackles in the Seminoles' win over Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl last Thursday before leaving with an injury. Florida State defensive back Akeem Dent appeared in 43 games (30 starts) during his four seasons, totaling 143 tackles with 15 passes defended and an interception. - Orlando Sentinel
