  2022 ALL-SUN BELT CONFERENCE FOOTBALL THIRD TEAM: OL - Kyle Hergel, Texas State (RS Jr., OL - Toronto, Canada),...Hergel started all 12 contests at right guard and played in 850 total snaps. He finished the regular season as the top-rated guard in the Sun Belt in PFF pass blocking grades. He was also tied for third best in the conference in pass blocking efficiency, according to PFF. In 509 pass plays, Hergel allowed one sack and eight total pressures. Hergel, who has started 24 consecutive games for the Bobcats, also anchored an offensive line that helped running back Lincoln Pare finish with the most rushing yards by a Texas State player in a single season since 2015. It is the second year in a row a Texas State offensive lineman has earned all-conference honors and third time in the last four years. - Texas State Football
