Vanderbilt tight end Ben Bresnahan is declaring for the NFL Draft and will not return for a sixth season with the Commodores, he said on Twitter on Thursday. As a fifth-year player in 2022, Bresnahan played in all 12 games, making 16 catches for 192 yards and a touchdown. He also played a key role as a blocker. In his Vanderbilt career, Bresnahan made 61 catches for 701 yards and five touchdowns. Bresnahan could have come back for a sixth season due to the COVID-19 waiver in 2020. Bresnahan indicated after the loss to Tennessee that he was "now an alum," though he later backtracked and said he had not made a final decision on his future. - Tennessean
