  2022 ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: QB Cole Doyle, Saint Francis U, R-So,...One day after being named one of 30 finalists for the Walter Payton Award, presented to the top offensive player in the FCS, Doyle earned the top offensive honor in the NEC. He ranks fourth in the FCS with a 179.9 passing efficiency, 12th with a 68.4 completion percentage and 17th with 21 passing touchdowns this season. Against NEC opponents this season, he recorded 1,544 passing yards (384 more than any other quarterback) and 19 passing touchdowns (six more than any other quarterback). He was a three-time NEC Offensive Player of the Week and earned an NEC Prime Performer selection in all-five of his starts this season, which all came against NEC opponents. On a national scale, he was a one-time NCAA FCS Player of the Week and two-time honorable mention for FedEx Ground Offensive Player of the Week. - Saint Francis U Football
