SEPT 26 SEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee,...Hooker played perhaps the best game of his career, accounting for 461 yards of total offense and three touchdowns as No. 11 Tennessee beat No. 20 Florida, 38-33...It was the Vols' first win over the Gators since 2016. With his top wide receiver out, Hooker carried the load, completing 22-of-28 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. He also rushed for 112 yards on 13 carries with one score...It was his highest rushing yard total at Tennessee. It also represented the most passing yards by a UT QB vs. Florida since Peyton Manning threw for 353 yards on Sept. 20, 1997.

Hooker became the second QB in UT history and the first since Joshua Dobbs vs. Georgia on Oct. 10, 2015, to register a 300-yard passing and 100-yard rushing game...In the victory, Hooker extended his school-record streak of consecutive pass attempts without an interception to 212, which is the ninth-longest streak in SEC history. He surpassed Alabama's Jalen Hurts and Florida's Time Tebow to enter the top 10 on Saturday...With the Vols trailing, Hooker led Tennessee on an epic, 12-play, 99-yard drive in the final minutes of the second quarter. He fired a touchdown pass with seven seconds left that put the Vols ahead for good. Hooker eclipsed 300 yards passing for the fourth time in a Tennessee uniform. He averaged a stellar 11.24 yards per play on Saturday. - SEC Football
