After watching spring practice, Memphis offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey said that running back Andarius Coffey is a player under the radar to keep an eye on. Said Cramsey: "You don't look at him as a 200-pound kid but we dropped him in the slot and told him to run routes so he's done a good job there. He's a piece you can move around, he's a guy you can give the ball in space and he's a little more electric than some of the guys in that room." Andarius, listed as 6-0, 181, was out injured last season and played sparingly as a freshman in 2020. Andarius played quarterback at Winona High School in Mississippi and was expected to try defensive back in college. He threw for 3,471 career yards and 39 touchdowns while rushing for 3,399 yards and 48 touchdown as a senior. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
