2022 PRESEASON DOAK WALKER AWARD CANDIDATE: Travis Dye (Sr.), USC,...A fifth-year senior, running back Travis Dye has a degree from Oregon, where he initially enrolled after graduating high school a year early (2018). In his four-year career with the Ducks (2018-21), Dye appeared in 48 games (with 19 starts), he ran for 3,111 yards (fifth most in school history) on 521 carries (6.0 avg) with 21 TDs, caught 83 passes for 869 yards (10.5 avg) with 8 TDs, returned 15 kickoffs for 305 yards (20.3 avg), had 5 punt returns for 52 yards (10.4 avg), made 2 tackles and was 0-of-1 passing. He had 7 100-yard rushing games and 4,337 all-purpose yards in his career. Most of his male relatives played football, baseball or hockey, including brother Troy (Oregon linebacker), brother Tony (at UCLA and Cincinnati Bengals, Junior Olympics), brother Jordan (wide receiver, Sterling College) and father, Mark, (football at San Jose State, baseball in Houston Astros system). So of course Travis will play another year at USC just to keep the family in the game. - USC Football
