RB Jeyvon Ducker was held out of both open scrimmages, including the spring game, so there's little to go on besides his potential. When he was healthy and seen during open portions of early spring practice, he showed off his pass-catching as well as running. The key questions, though: Will a healthy Brandon Thomas resume his role as the Tigers' lead back? Does Asa Martin get more carries after his strong finish to last season? Even if Thomas and Martin are effective, Ducker, last season's MAC Freshman of the Year, will challenge them and the other returners for time on the field. It's the main challenge for new running backs coach Sean Dawkins, and Ducker will certainly try to spark a run game that struggled the past two seasons. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
