Former Arizona State wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who entered the transfer portal this offseason, has announced his commitment to Florida on social media. The Gators landed the former three-star recruit over Auburn and Oregon, who each made his top three list this month. Before opting to transfer to Florida, Ricky Pearsall became Arizona State's leading receiver in 2021 with 48 catches for 580 yards and four touchdowns. Over 24 career games, he has 794 receiving yards with five touchdowns, adding 78 rushing yards and two touchdowns as well. Coming out of high school, Pearsall ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 1,208 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus. He also ranked as the No. 164 wide receiver and No. 21 player in his home state of Arizona. The On3 Transfer Portal Rankings have Pearsall listed as the No. 20 wide receiver this season and he had moved into the top five best players available by the time he committed. - On3.com
