  Coastal Carolina's Enock Makonzo was chosen by the Edmonton Elks as the No. 4 overall pick in the first round of the 2022 Canadian Football League (CFL) Draft on Tuesday night. He is the first Coastal Carolina player to be taken in the CFL Draft. He finished his CCU career with 150 total tackles, including 79 solo stops and 71 assisted tackles, 21.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.0 sacks, one pass breakup, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. As a redshirt senior in 2021, Makonzo was third on the team in total tackles with 71.0, third in solo tackles with 30, and third in assisted tackles with 41. He was tied for second in tackles-for-loss with 10.0 and tied for the team lead with three forced fumbles. - Coastal Carolina Football
