  Memphis added another transfer Monday with a local connection in former Ohio State defensive end CorMontae Hamilton. Hamilton, who announced his decision on Twitter, was a former three-star recruit as a tight end at Whitehaven High School. He signed with Ohio State in 2019 after earning a scholarship following a solo Greyhound bus trip from Memphis to attend a Buckeyes football camp in June 2018. Per Hamilton's post, he has three years of eligibility remaining and will be a junior this season. He appeared in 13 games over two seasons and entered the transfer portal in February. He's also the second defensive linemen the Tigers added after the spring game. Former Sam Houston lineman Kamren Washington, the reigning WAC Freshman of the Year, committed on Sunday. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
