Mykael Wright wasn't dead set on declaring for the NFL draft during the season, but a productive year combined with Mario Cristobal's departure for Miami solidified his decision. "If I would've stayed this would've been my third (defensive coordinator) in four years and my third corner coach in four years," Wright said. "It was a change, so why not if change is coming I can go through a change and further my career in the NFL. During the season I wasn't 100% sure about declaring, but when Cristobal left it kind of made the decision a little easier." Wright had 65 tackles, three tackles for loss, four pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble last season. He also returned 12 kickoffs for an average of 27.7 yards and wants to continue being a kick returner and possibly punt returner in the NFL. - The Oregonian
