  Draft Scout by Conference

Alabama football is set to begin spring practice on Friday, March 11, UA announced in a release Thursday. The Crimson Tide will hold 14 practices in addition to its A-Day Game, which will be played at 2 p.m. All are closed to the public except for A-Day on April 16. The scrimmage will be broadcast on SEC Network+. There will be a 10-day break between the first and second practice because of spring break. The second practice will be held on March 21. While Alabama loses some of its top offensive talent in Evan Neal, Jameson Williams and John Metchie III to the NFL Draft, the Crimson Tide will have plenty of talent that remains in 2022.

Quarterback Bryce Young headlines that group, fresh off a Heisman Trophy season in 2021. He will be in his third season with the Crimson Tide and second as a starter. The Crimson Tide added Georgia's Jermaine Burton via the transfer portal to help fill the void at receiver. On defense, the top player also returns in linebacker Will Anderson Jr. He will lead a group that returns several impact players such as fellow edge rusher Dallas Turner, safety Jordan Battle and linebacker Henry To'o To'o. - Montgomery Advertiser
