South Alabama's 2022 quarterback battle got a little more interesting on Tuesday, as former Toledo starter Carter Bradley announced he was transferring to the Jaguars. Bradley, the son of longtime NFL coach Gus Bradley, started the first four games for the Rockets in 2021 before losing his starting job to freshman Dequan Finn. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Bradley completed 77 of 129 passes for 972 yards and four touchdowns with one interception this past season, including 221 yards and a touchdown in a 32-29 loss to Notre Dame. Bradley - who played his high school ball in Jacksonville, Fla., when his father was head coach of the Jaguars - totaled 2,377 yards and 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 21 career games at Toledo. He announced his transfer decision via Twitter. - Birmingham News
