  SEPT 13 BIG SOUTH DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Monmouth defensive back Justin Terry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) tied his career-high with 10 tackles in Monmouth's 26-23 win at Fordham, in addition to a forced fumble and a 100-yard interception return for two points on a PAT attempt that put the Hawks ahead, 23-16 late in the third quarter. He made a career-high eight solo stops, and Monmouth recovered his forced fumble and went on to score seven plays later for a 21-10 advantage early in the second-half. Also nominated for Defensive Player of the Week: Josh Johnson (Campbell) and K.J. Smith (North Alabama). - Big South Football
