Chris Ault knows a thing of two about NFL quarterbacks. During his time at Nevada, he recruited or developed four that reached that level, including Colin Kaepernick, Jeff Rowe, John Dutton and David Fales, each spending at least one year at Nevada under Ault. The Hall of Fame coach also spent two seasons as an offensive consultant for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. He can see NFL talent when it presents itself, and when Ault first saw current Wolf Pack quarterback Carson Strong, he knew the Wolf Pack had something special."I think the world of Carson Strong," Ault told Nevada Sports Net. "He's come so far. He has tremendous poise. He's got a great arm. There's no question he is an NFL quarterback. There's no question about it because of the strength of his arm. ... We have one of the best wide receiver corps in the country, with any school. But I think Carson is the one who makes those guys go. He makes them better by his performance, and he's the right guy. He's very confident. He's led the team to some great wins. He knows what's excepted of him. And he knows the offense. That's very similar to our 2010 team with the quarterback situation being like it is." - NevadaSportsnet.com
