Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Stephon Wright has entered the transfer portal. The 6-foot-4, 287-pounder will have four years of eligibility at his new school. Wright, a product of Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, has not seen much playing time due to injuries. Last season he served a a backup to junior Jermayne Lole at 3-technique tackle. He played in two games in the shortened season but did not record a tackle. He had shoulder surgery during the offseason that prevented him from going through spring drills in March. Wright was one of ASU's most prized recruits in 2019. He boasted a four-star ranking and had been pegged the No. 18 strong side defensive end and No. 255 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite ranking. - Arizona Republic
