I want to say thank you to Syracuse and the coaching staff for the opportunity to play there! Tyler received a scholarship offer from Syracuse on Jan. 19 and almost a week later his primary recruiter, former SU offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh, took a job at Arizona State. Despite the personnel shift, Tyler committed to the program in April due to his relationship with the Orange's new OL coach Mike Schmidt. - The Post-Standard
