  06/11/21 - RB Tyler BadieSr/2022, Missouri

Missouri is in a solid place to transition that production to the presumed No. 1 back, Tyler Badie, who played in a backup role the past three seasons, yet still saw consistent playing time. Badie was second on MU with 242 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 2020, with his skills also being used in the passing game, as well as kickoff returns. Badie, a senior, has a different skill set than Rountree, though they're a similar height and weight. Badie is 1 inch shorter and 10 pounds lighter. Rountree is the more physical runner of the two. He didn't mind plowing through a defender to get the extra yard. Badie prefers to run around you and tire defenders out. While Badie doesn't shy away from contact, he's got a lower center of gravity, making his speed a valuable asset. He's hard to tackle in open space, especially outside the tackles. Badie's overall production at Missouri has been solid. But rushing for 242 yards in 2020 falls short of the 437-yard and 457-yard marks he set in 2018 and 2019, respectively. - Columbia Daily Tribune
