David Bailey, Boston College's leading rusher last fall, is transferring to Colorado State to rejoin his former head coach, Steve Addazio. Bailey, a graduate transfer, was on the CSU campus Wednesday preparing to participate in the first scheduled summer workout with his new teammates, athletic department spokesman Kyle Neaves said. The transfer was first reported by 247Sports.

The 6-foot-1, 236-pound running back, ran for 503 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games last fall as a junior at Boston College. He was the Eagles' second-leading rusher in 2019, running for 181 yards in one game against North Carolina State and finishing with 844 yards and seven touchdowns while earning honorable mention in All-Atlantic Coast Conference voting. Bailey has two years of eligibility remaining, beginning this fall. - Fort Collins Coloradoan
