USC made its second addition to the safety position via the transfer market Thursday, landing the commitment of former Auburn safety Chris Thompson Jr. Thompson, who announced his decision via Twitter, arrives at USC with a full four years of eligibility after participating as a true freshman in the 2020 season. In his one season with the Tigers, Thompson recorded eight tackles.
