  Former Ohio State receiver and grad assistant C.J. Saunders is getting a pro football shot. Saunders will play in The Spring League, the developmental football league that plays in the spring. The league confirmed Saunders has joined the roster of its Aviators team. The Aviators and other North Division teams are based on Indianapolis, play games at Lucas Oil Stadium and are broadcast on Fox, FS1 and FS2. South Division teams are based in Houston. Saunders came to Ohio State as a walk-on from Dunlin Coffman High School in suburban Columbus and rose to become a team captain. He totaled 294 yards and a touchdown on 27 career receptions. - Cleveland Plain Dealer
