Justin Fields extended Ohio State football's lead as the most prolific source of first-round NFL Draft talent. Fields became the 85th first-round pick in Buckeyes history when the Chicago Bears traded up to select him with the 11th pick in Thursday's first round. Ohio State added a little cushion to its all-time lead over USC (82). Fields was the only Buckeye taken in Thursday's opening round in Cleveland. It was the first year since 2015 without multiple OSU players taken in the first round. The second, third and fourth rounds could be full of them, though. The 2019 draft marked the sixth time at least 10 Buckeyes were selected. - Cleveland Plain Dealer
