  04/18/21 - WR Chris OlaveSr/2022, Ohio State

There aren't many people who would've predicted Chris Olave's return to the Ohio State football roster for his senior season, not after how the first three went. The wide receiver made a name for himself in the Michigan game as a freshman, built on that success as a sophomore then found redemption as a junior while establishing himself as one of the country's best wide receivers. So when he FaceTimed his teammates informing them that he'd share the room with them one more time, they were happy to have him, just shocked he came back. "I'm not gonna lie, yeah, I was surprised," receiver Garrett Wilson said. "When you're as good as Chris, you think those dudes get gone. I was surprised, but whenever he told me, I knew we were going to be right back where we were last year with a chance to compete for everything we want. We expect to have one of the best rooms in the country (and) having Chris back is going to be a huge part of that."

Olave and Wilson might be college football's top two wide receivers next season, which is a good thing to have when your starting quarterback - whoever that will be - has yet to throw a collegiate pass. But Olave's draft stock was already high even in a 2021 NFL Draft class loaded with receiver talent. When he got a chance to be a receiver in the first of two Pro Days for Justin Fields, that could've very well been his Pro Day as well, but he didn't feel ready to leave. He still had personal and team goals left to accomplish. That started with bulking up his 6-foot-1, 189-pound frame. "I come back to try to get in the weight room more and get a lot stronger," Olave said. "Turn into a complete receiver and try to be NFL-ready Week 1." - Cleveland Plain Dealer
