  Draft Scout by Conference

SMU football added former Oklahoma TE Grant Calcaterra today, according to a post from Calcaterra's Twitter. He previously committed to Auburn in December of 2020, but withdrew that commitment following the firing of head coach Gus Malzahn. Calcaterra played three seasons with the Sooners, and was a starter. He recorded nine touchdown in his 41 receptions and had 637 career receiving yards. He played a big role, securing two touchdowns in the Big 12 title game in 2018. However, he retired after the 2019 season due to concussions, but announced he would return to the sport in after the 2020 season. - Dallas Morning News
