Cody Fletcher will be back in Manhattan this fall. Fletcher, a senior linebacker, announced Tuesday on Twitter that he would take advantage of the NCAA's waiver that didn't count the 2020 season against a student-athlete's eligibility. Fletcher tallied 44 tackles in 2020, the third-best total on the team, trailing only defensive back Jahron McPherson (54) and fellow linebacker Justin Hughes (45). A Texas native, Fletcher also had 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup. - Manhattan Mercury
