The Arizona State Sun Devils are deep at the wide receiver position. So it probably isn't a surprise that Brandon Pierce has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Pierce, a 5-foot-9, 160-pounder known for his speed, has not been an integral factor in the offense. He played in five games as a reserve in 2019 but recorded only one catch for seven yards. This season he played in just one game, that being ASU's 70-7 win over Arizona on Saturday but did not have a reception. Pierce came to ASU after two seasons at College of the Canyons in California, managing 58 receptions for 996 yards and nine touchdowns in 21 games. He reportedly clocked a best time of 4.31 seconds in the 40-yard dash. - Arizona Republic
