Draft Scout College Football Player News

The speedy wide receiver, who originally opted out of the season before changing course and opting back in, missed the first three games. Purdue didn't give a reason for his absence but Moore said after Saturday's loss to Minnesota that he had re-aggravated a hamstring injury late in training camp. Moore is one of the top wide receivers in not just the Big Ten, but all of college football. He returned to the field in a big way, catching 15 passes for 116 yards with one rushing touchdown against the Gophers. Moore will present a steep challenge for a Rutgers secondary that has been inconsistent through the first five games. "They're a good football team," Schiano said. "Offensively they're very explosive. They've got Rondale Moore last week. He's one of the fastest, most explosive players in college football, period. So that was a big guy that for them to get back, and they were already doing well offensively." - Asbury Park Press
