  NOV 9 PAC-12 FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Jayden de Laura, Fr., QB, Washington State (Honolulu, Hawaii),...First true freshman in school history to open the season as the starting quarterback, de Laura completed 18-of-33 attempts for 227 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also added 43 rushing yards on eight attempts and a touchdown. He was the first true freshman Cougar to start any game under center since 2009...His first career TD pass came late in the first quarter, a 29-yard score to Travell Harris...His first rushing touchdown gave WSU a 21-7 lead early in the third quarter, a five-yard score. On the Cougars' next possession, de Laura found Harris again, this time on a 28-yard strike to the back pylon to give Washington State a 28-7 lead...Seven of his eight rushing attempts were for positive yards, including two for first downs.
