  NOV 9 SUN BELT OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Cornelious Brown IV, Georgia State,...Georgia State quarterback Cornelious Brown IV accounted for four touchdowns and 271 yards of total offense to lead the Panthers to a 52-34 victory over ULM. Brown completed 20 of 32 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 30 yards, including a 3-yard scoring run. The redshirt freshman known as Quad directed a GSU offense that tied the program record for points vs. an FBS opponent, scoring 52 points for the second time this season and fourth time in the last two years.

On the first play of the game, Brown hooked up with Cornelius McCoy for a 57-yard completion, setting up the Panthers' first touchdown less than three minutes into the game. With Brown at the helm, Georgia State jumped to a 21-0 lead and went on to score a program-record 42 points in the first quarter. Brown was recognized as the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness. For the season, he is averaging 234.5 yards of total offense per game and has accounted for 17 touchdowns (12 passing, five rushing) in six games. - Sun Belt Football
