  Air Force football (1-1, 0-1 MW) dropped its Mountain West-opener at San Jose State (1-0, 1-0 MW), 17-6, Saturday night at CEFCU Stadium in San José, Calif. The Falcons had its nine game win streak, which was the second-longest in the nation, snapped in the process. Air Force struggled to get its offense going early, unable to get on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter. For the game, the Falcons racked up 206 yards on the ground and 298 yards of total offense. Wide receiver Brandon Lewis led the Falcons with six catches for 36 yards and tied for the team lead with 60 yards rushing on nine carries. Fullback Timothy Jackson also ran for 60 yards on 15 carries. Daniels led the Falcons through the air, going 9-of-17 for 92 yards. Patterson led Air Force receivers with 56 yards. Defensively, senior defensive back Elisha Palm led the Falcon defense with nine tackles and an interception. - Air Force Football
