OU receiver Charleston Rambo doesn't want to be selfish. But he needs the football in his hands more. He needs to get in the end zone more. "Just being humble and trying to carry a team, that's some stuff I need to do," Rambo said. As OU prepares to face No. 22-ranked Texas in Saturday' annual Red River Showdown, the Sooners' star receiver wants to do more. Last season, he got off to a fast start. He caught four touchdowns and totaled 215 yards through the first three games. This season, he's only scored twice and amassed 171 receiving yards. But Rambo also wants to lead and help young, talented players like quarterback Spencer Rattler.

"I know he's young," Rambo said. "I need to be there more for him, talk through things. And bring up our O-line, talk to our running backs. Just try to key in our offensive people, get everybody locked in. Rambo and offensive lineman Creed Humphrey have become the offense's vocal leaders. They're often the ones loudest in adversity. "We need to start keying things together and get these Ws," Rambo said. - Daily Oklahoman
