UTSA quarterback Frank Harris will be a game-time decision for Saturday's matchup against UAB due to a knee sprain, coach Jeff Traylor said Monday. Harris left Friday's home win against Middle Tennessee during the second quarter and did not return. He was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday morning, and Traylor called the outcome the "best news possible." Through three games, Harris has passed for 508 yards and three touchdowns with one interception and a 66.2 percent completion rate. He has also rushed for 162 yards and five TDs. Josh Adkins, a Smithson Valley graduate and transfer from New Mexico State, replaced Harris against Middle Tennessee and completed 16 of 28 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown as UTSA won 37-35 at the Alamodome. Harris, a junior, appeared to jam his right knee into the turf when he was tackled at the end of a 20-yard run during the final minute of the first half. He played two more snaps but then began waving to the sideline as he jogged back toward the huddle, eventually falling to the turf. - Express-News
