  Draft Scout by Conference

Another Ohio State football star announced he will not play this fall, regardless of what the Big Ten Conference decides in the coming days. Buckeyes cornerback Shaun Wade announced Monday morning that he will forego his remaining eligibility and declare for the 2021 NFL Draft. He joins offensive lineman Wyatt Davis as Buckeyes choosing not to play. Players who make such announcements but do not compromise their NCAA eligibility are free to return to their teams. Wade’s father, Randy, has been a vocal leader of the push for the Big Ten to play this fall. However, he said all along that push was for the Buckeyes' seniors and other players more than for his son. Shaun Wade was the only Buckeye known to not be participating in voluntary workouts on campus over the past few weeks. - Cleveland.com
