2020 WUERFFEL TROPHY PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Sage Doxtater, New Mexico State, senior, offensive line,...Doxtater, a three-year starter, is fully recovered after battling a nagging injury one year ago. He played in only four games with three starts after missing the first half of last season due to the injury. Regarded as the Canadian Football League's top offensive line draft prospect, Doxtater made an immediate impact in his first game action of last year. NM State generated a season-best 611 total yards of offense in the win over UIW, rushing for 295 yards and throwing for 316 yards behind his blocking. Off the field, Doxtater plays an active role in his community, using football to inspire children from his hometown. Hailing from Onieda Nation in southwestern Ontario, he frequently visits the elementary school he attended to speak with students about life outside of the reservation. - New Mexico State Football
