  Draft Scout by Conference

Help is on the way for Louisiana Tech's depleted defensive backfield. Former Virginia Tech safety Khalil Ladler announced -- via his Twitter page Saturday -- his intention of joining the Bulldogs, posting he was "committed" with a Tech graphic. Ladler will finish out his collegiate football career in Ruston as a redshirt senior. The addition of Ladler, who's listed at 5-11, 190 pounds on Virginia Tech's football website, fills a much-needed void for the Louisiana Tech defense on the backend as it lost two safeties, including Kansas City Chief draftee L'Jarius Sneed, and both of its starting cornerbacks, where star Amik Robertson declared early for the NFL Draft after junior year this past season and was a fourth-round selection by the Las Vegas Raiders a little over a week go. - Monroe News Star
