Ohio State football's Best In America defensive back branding tends to focus on the stars who walked the stage on the opening night of the NFL Draft. Teams have found recent value in the Buckeye secondary later in the draft as well. While Ohio State will have early round cornerbacks again when the NFL Draft begins on April 23, safety Jordan Fuller will attempt to follow that other path. The Philadelphia Eagles may not have expected much from Kurt Coleman after selecting him in the seventh round in 2010. A year later he was a full-time starter. His 2019 stint with Buffalo gave him 10 full years in the league. Nate Ebner's sixth-round selection by the New England Patriots was a unique case of a team investing in a special teams trooper. Yet Ebner is still going strong and recently signed a free agent deal with the New York Giants. Even Kendall Sheffield, who only lasted until the fourth round, started over half of the Atlanta Falcons' games last season. Assuming Fuller similarly lasts until the later rounds, can he also overachieve relative to his selection? - Cleveland Plain Dealer
