Chase Young's final, brilliant season with Ohio State football transcended the recognition typically bestowed on the nation's top defensive players. The defensive end's intimidating presence off the edge made him a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff. As expected, Young will forgo a senior season in Columbus and transfer those talents to the next level. He announced via Twitter on Friday that he plans to enter the 2020 NFL Draft. A unanimous All-American, Young's awards haul included the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, the Chicago Tribune Silver Football and the Nagurski and Bednarik awards as the nation's top defensive player. With some bowl games yet to be played, Young leads the nation in sacks (16.5) and sacks per game (1.38) and ranks fourth in tackles for loss per game (1.75). The sack total broke Ohio State's single-season record. - Cleveland.com
