2022 ALL-SEC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): LS Wesley Schelling, Vanderbilt,...Schelling is the first Commodore to earn first team all-conference honors from the league’s coaches since Zach Cunningham in 2016. A native of Nashville, Schelling executed on all 10 8 long snaps this season. He was not flagged for a penalty all year. The highlight of his season came against Florida, when he recovered a fumbled punt in the end zone for a touchdown, keying a 31-24 Commodore victory. Schelling is the 29th first team Al l-SEC selection from Vanderbilt and just the fourth Commodore specialist to earn that honor. He joins a trio of punters (Ricky Anderson, David Lawrence and Bill Marinangel) who earned first team spots. - Vanderbilt Football
