WEEK 7 PFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brandon Martin, Dayton (Sophomore (RS), Defensive End, Cincinnati, Ohio),...Martin filled in the stat sheet while leading a defensive effort that did not allow a point until the fourth quarter in a 41-10 victory a t Valparaiso. He recorded six tackles (four solo), with 3.0 for a loss and the other three resulting in no gain, along with a sack, picked up a fumble recovery, and had a pass breakup on the day. Martin's sack came in the third quarter on a 3rd-and-13 in Dayton territory and helped force a punt. On the next Valparaiso drive, he landed on a lost fumble to halt another Valparaiso drive that had entered Dayton territory and helped flip the field position. - Pioneer Football League
