  Jerry Kaminski threw four touchdown passes, Sawyer Seidl had 165 scrimmage yards with two touchdowns and North Dakota routed Indiana State 46-17 on Saturday. The Fighting Hawks (No. 10 FCS coaches poll, 6-2, 4-0 Missouri Valley Football Conference) led 24-3 at halftime then added 20 points in the third quarter for an insurmountable 44-10 lead. Kaminski completed 22 of 34 passes for 300 yards. His touchdowns went to four receivers.

Seidl gained 104 yards rushing with one touchdown and added 61 yards receiving with another touchdown. He had a long run of 31 yards and a long reception of 56 yards, although neither play resulted in a touchdown. Quarterbacks Brock Riddle and Keegan Patterson completed only 10 of 34 passes for 158 yards for Indiana State (2-6, 0-4). North Dakota intercepted three passes. The blowout comes after two tight games in the series. Indiana State won 35-31 last season and North Dakota won 36-33 in overtime in 2023. - AP College Football

  Jerry Kaminski threw three touchdown passes and Gaven Ziebarth ran for a pair of scores in North Dakota's 35-17 win over Youngstown State on Saturday. Kaminski found BJ Fleming for two touchdowns in the first half, as the Fighting Hawks had four consecutive touchdown drives to open the game. Fleming had five catches for 82 yards, all in the first half. Kaminski was 17-of-27 passing for 146 yards.

Ziebarth had 72 yards on the ground, mostly from a 51-yard score early in the second quarter to give North Dakota a 21-0 lead. Sawyer Seidl had 114 yards on 20 carries. The FCS No. 13 Fighting Hawks (4-2, 2-0 Missouri Valley Football Conference) held Youngstown State to 3 of 14 on third downs. Beau Brungard was 18 of 33 for 269 yards with a pair of touchdown passes for the Penguins. Kylon Wilson caught four passes for 102 yards, including a 37-yard score.   WEEK 6 MISSOURI VALLEY FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: QB Jerry Kaminski, North Dakota, So., Sun Prairie, Wis.,...Kaminski was an impressive 20-for-23 passing for 246 yards and four scores in UND's 35-7 win at UNI. He also completed a pass to himself in the third quarter, which was possible when the ball was deflected by a defender and then caught by Kaminski and returned for a two-yard completion. He finished the game with completions to 10 different receivers (including himself) and had passing touchdowns to four different players. Kaminski also recorded five rushes for 35 yards. The win marked NoDak's first win in the UNI-Dome since a 35-31 thriller on Sept. 9, 2006. It also ended an eight-game winless skid on the road for the Fighting Hawks, which dated back to Nov. 4, 2023 (W, 45-31 at Murray State) and was the largest margin of victory for UND in an away game since the 42-7 victory at Indiana State on Nov. 5, 2022. - Missouri Valley Football

  Jerry Kaminski threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns, Sawyer Seidl returned the second-half kickoff 92 yards for one of his three touchdowns and North Dakota routed Valparaiso 58-7 on Saturday. North Dakota rebounded from a 24-23 loss at Montana last weekend when the Grizzlies scored the final 10 points after not leading until the final 1:35. North Dakota led Valpo 24-0 at halftime behind Kaminski's 135 yards and two touchdowns. Valpo had just three first downs and 52 total yards at the break.

The North Dakota special teams unit highlighted the second half, led by Seidl's return and John Butsch's two blocked two punts that turned into 10 points. Seidl also had a touchdown rushing and receiving. Xavier Leigh had 64 yards rushing and a touchdown for North Dakota (2-2). Simon Romfo and Javance Tupou'ata-Johnson each had a TD on the ground. Rowan Keefe threw for 111 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Valpo (1-3).   Jerry Kaminski threw four touchdown passes - two to Nathan Hromadka - and ran for a TD on Saturday night to help North Dakota beat Portland State 50-20 on Saturday night. Kaminski led a nine-play, 61-yard opening drive that he capped with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Hromadka about 4 1/2 minutes into the game. Cru Newman fumbled on the ensuing kickoff return, UND's Grant Noland recovered at the 17 and Kaminski's 7-yard TD run made it 14-0 less than two minutes later.

Kaminski was 14-of-21 passing for 164 yards and added 70 yards rushing on eight carries. Kaminski threw a 4-yard touchdown passes to Deng Deng and Tray Kuntz, and hit Hromadka for a 20-yarder. Backup quarterback Javance Tupou'ata-Johnson ran for a 2-yard touchdown that gave North Dakota a 50-13 lead with 10:55 to play. Jayden Brannan strip-sacked Tupou'ata-Johnson and Jaxton Helmstetler returned the fumble 70 yards for a TD to cap the scoring. John-Keawe Sagapolutele threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Lynch and Delon Thompson added a 3-yard scoring run for Portland State (0-3).
